Laravel Certification Exam

When I first heard about the Laravel Certification, I thought it would be great to have that for the team but at €249 per person, it was expensive. When I saw that they offered discounts for countries like the Philippines, it was affordable enough that I bought a voucher to see if I could pass.

I spent several nights reading the documentation again, discovering new delightful things, and mentally preparing myself for the 1-hour exam.

When I finally finished taking the exam, I felt disappointed. I can't talk about the specific exam questions but I think they are a bit too basic.

What I would like to see in the future is an advanced level of certification. Something that guarantees a developer knows how to use Laravel's features for testing, securing, and scaling an application.
